Guidelines & privacy
This platform only works if reviews are honest and the people writing them are safe. Two short lists, no legal jargon.
How to write a fair review
- 01
Rate the teaching, not the person
Talk about lectures, marking, materials, and availability. Comments about appearance, tribe, religion, or family are removed.
- 02
No names of other students
Never mention classmates, matric numbers, phone numbers, or emails. Reviews containing them are blocked automatically.
- 03
No harassment or threats
Strong criticism is welcome. Abuse is not. Reported reviews are flagged and hidden from public listings.
- 04
Only rate lecturers you were actually taught by
Say the course code so other students know the context of your experience.
What we store
Short answer: nothing that points to you.
- No account, no email, no phone number is ever requested.
- Reviews are saved with no link back to the person who wrote them.
- We do not store IP addresses or device identifiers with a review.
- Your browser remembers which lecturers you rated so you don't double-post. That note never leaves your device.
- Anyone can report a review; flagged reviews disappear from public pages.
A note for lecturers
Reviews here are student opinion, not official evaluation. If a review breaks these guidelines, use the report button on it and it will be flagged for removal.
